Helen Tago
Helen Tago (1980) works in various graphic techniques, with a focus on intaglio and experimentation. Her works intertwine psychological states with human-made landscapes in prints that often acquire a site-specific and spatial dimension. Helen Tago studied printmaking at the Estonian Academy of Arts, graduating with a BA in 2004. Tago is a founding member of graafika.ee studio & gallery and has been an active member of the Association of Estonian Printmakers since 2016. Works by Helen Tago are included in the collection of the Art Museum of Estonia.
The artist’s recent exhibitions include: graphic art competition “Wiiralt Prize 2025” (nominee); group exhibition of graphic artists “Urban Utopia II” at Pärnu City Gallery (2025); solo exhibition “The Geometry of Perception” at Tütar gallery (2025); and “Urmas Ploomipuu’s Geometric Realism: Intersections and Reflections,” curated by Tõnis Saadoja, at Rüki Gallery (2024).
