On Thursday, April 18th, Denisa Štefanigova will open her solo exhibition, titled “To Observe the Clouds” at Tütar gallery. The exhibition is designed by artist Johannes Luik.
Denisa Štefanigova (1995) is a painter based in Brno, whose ties with Estonia stem from her master’s studies at the Estonian Academy of Arts. In this exhibition, Štefanigova presents her latest works, showcasing hybrid creatures and fantastical animals executed in an expressive and dynamic style.
Art historian Katrin Kivimaa writes in the exhibition’s accompanying text: “This is a world rich in fantasy, dreamlike, or subconscious, where creatures, shaped within the depths of a deeply personal and dynamic creative process, have become the artist’s imagined companions.”
